Entertainment news: Five things to do this weekend

1. Learn to dance and then show off your moves with lessons and a "Swingn' Dance Party" at 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 at the CopaCabanna Dance and Event Center, inside Cincinnati Mills Mall at Suite A234. (It's on Level 2, and the best access is on the West side of the mall, so park near Kohl's.) Lessons take place from 7 to 8 p.m. For more info call (513) 771-2672 or visit www.copacabanna.com.

2. The Fairfield Footlighters will perform "The Diviners" at 8 p.m. Friday Aug. 22 and Saturday, Aug. 23 and 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24 at the Fairfield Community Arts Center, 411 Wessel Drive, Fairfield. Tickets range from $10-$12 and may be ordered by calling (513) 867-5348.

3. The Fort Hamilton Jazz Band will be performing a free show at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24. It will play at Wayne "Sutherland" Park, located at Park Avenue and D Street in Hamilton.

4. Stage acts at the Heritage Festival in downtown Mason Saturday, Aug. 23 include former WLW radio personality Gary Burbank with Tickled Pink; Robin Lacy and DeZydeco, Chaselounge and the newly reformed band Midnight on Vine. The festival kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with the annual parade from the Mason Municipal Center through downtown.

5. The Fort Hamilton District Boy Scouts of America Traveling History Museum will be open for viewing from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at Heritage Hall, 20 High St., Hamilton. It's free to check it out. If you need more info call (513) 737-5958.
