Dave Sams has been a musical fixture around Hamilton for many years, both as a performer and a developer of young talent as a teacher, currently as the resident guitar guy at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts, where he is also active behind the scenes at the monthly Music Cafe.
His musical diversity is evident at every gig, whether he's playing solo (you can frequently catch him at the Riverbank Cafe as well as next Wednesday, July 30, at the Take A Lunch Break On the Courthouse Lawn Music Series) or with his band Luna Tanz, which has a standing Saturday gig at Gabby's Cafe in Wyoming performing "Euro folk."
Sams lives in Hamilton with his wife, Mary Jo, and his two dogs, Hermoine and Lily.
