Offensive MVP: Beanie Wells, RB, Ohio State (left)

Defensive MVP: Malcolm Jenkins, CB, Ohio State

Freshman of the Year: Darryl Stonum, WR, Michigan

Coach of the Year: Joe Paterno

Surprise team: Michigan State 

Potential bust: Iowa
