Northeast Report
Plenty of sunshine Thursday as high pressure builds across the region. Cool to chilly at first, then comfortable in the afternoon with light breezes. Highs in the upper 50s in northern Maine, the 60s from southern Maine to northern New York and the 70s in southern New York and southern New England. Clear to partly cloudy skies across the region on Thursday night, with generally settled conditions beneath a broad area of high pressure. Patches of fog will form across portions of upstate New York, Vermont and New Hampshire. Lows will range from around 30 in parts of northern Maine to 60 in Midtown Manhattan.
